MTSU Cultural History: Murfreesboro, TN; I teach US cultural and intellectual history at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. I'm interested in the history of values and teach courses related to questions about how Americans have made choices about what they consider right and wrong, good and bad, aesthetically pleasing and not. I offer topics courses on the history of cultural rebellion, morality, and road culture, as well as a course on how cultural hierarchies are created.
